  • Strong backwash and rips
  • No lifeguard protection beyond the main beach area

Local Tips

  • If you're surfing it, watch at least 20 minutes first to understand the current rip channels and sandbar position.
  • Bodyboards and fins are far more appropriate here than surfboards.
