  • Why: Rocky bottom and fast peaks require solid experience, but the wave is more manageable than Pipeline or Sunset.

  • Current pulls down towards Pipeline on bigger swells

Local Tips

  • Rocky Point is a favourite with many of the world's best freesurfers, go at dawn or dusk for less competition.
  • The inside section has fun, playful waves for slightly less experienced riders while the outside fires.
