  • Mexican Pipeline section is one of the deadliest tubes on the planet
  • Hot sun and dehydration compound exhaustion

Local Tips

  • Watch for at least 30 minutes before paddling out, the sets are irregular and giant sets catch the unprepared.
  • The beach rescue team at Zicatela are professionals; know where they are stationed before entering the water.
