Shape

Long, slow-peeling wall, rarely hollow

Length

Skill Level

  • Who it's for: Intermediate (longboard) / Intermediate–Advanced (shortboard)
  • Why: The wave is gentle and long, perfect for flow surfing, but shortboarders need to generate their own speed.

Hazards

  • Rocky entry and exit over slippery black rocks
  • Strong current on bigger swells that pulls you down the point
  • Rocky inside section at low tide

Local Tips

  • A longboard or mid-length is the ideal craft, you'll get double the rides of a shortboarder.
  • Stay higher on the wave in the early sections to avoid getting caught inside by the next set.
