Skill Level

  • Who it's for: Advanced
  • Why: Fast, hollow waves over a rocky reef in cold water, the Pichilemu zone is not for the timid.

Hazards

  • Rocky reef and shore structure
  • Cold water (13–15°C)
  • Strong current on bigger swells

Local Tips

  • Lobería fires on the same swell as Punta de Lobos, check both on a big south swell day.
  • Less famous than Punta de Lobos means significantly fewer surfers, worth choosing if the main break is crowded.
